Abstract

|
Upper extremity injuries can occur in traumas related to sports, daily activities and so on. Various imaging modalities can be applied in evaluating the physical injuries in upper extremity and have their own roles in the evaluating injuries. Magnetic resonance imaging is very useful method for diagnosis of injuries because it has good soft-tissue contrast. Other imaging modalities, such as plain radiographs or ultrasonography also have their own roles for evaluating fine fracture and can visualize dynamic status. Computed Tomogarphy also can be used for the evaluation of fractures and other related finding. This study shows the images of uncommon traumatic lesions in upper extremitywith various imaging modalities.
